# Outlook Calendar

> List Outlook calendars, and read, create and delete Outlook calendar events and Teams meetings

Use the Outlook calendar nodes to read and change the events on an Outlook calendar from inside a flow. This flow books a Teams meeting for the Q3 report review and emails the join link to the team. Press **Run** to watch it.

Node
Output in this run

Every node needs an **Outlook** connection: OAuth, or a service principal with a mailbox user. See [Connect Microsoft 365](https://docs.noxus.ai/integrations/providers/microsoft.md) to set one up. The calendar nodes work on the calendars of that connection's mailbox.

There are no calendar triggers. The email nodes and triggers in the same **Outlook** group are on [Outlook Mail](https://docs.noxus.ai/integrations/microsoft/outlook-mail.md).

## Nodes

| Node | What it does |
| - | - |
| [List Outlook Calendars](#list-outlook-calendars) [From 1.11.0](https://docs.noxus.ai/core/changelog.md#1-11-0) | Lists the calendars of the connected account |
| [Read Outlook Events](#read-outlook-events) [From 1.11.0](https://docs.noxus.ai/core/changelog.md#1-11-0) | Reads the events of a calendar between two days |
| [Create Outlook Event](#create-outlook-event) [From 1.11.0](https://docs.noxus.ai/core/changelog.md#1-11-0) | Creates an event, a repeating event or a Teams meeting |
| [Delete Outlook Event](#delete-outlook-event) [From 1.11.0](https://docs.noxus.ai/core/changelog.md#1-11-0) | Deletes an event, or a whole series |

Read Outlook Events and Create Outlook Event have a **Calendar** field. Pick **Default calendar** or another calendar from the list, or bind a calendar `id` from List Outlook Calendars.

What it does

## Troubleshooting

> [accordion] Outlook calendar access was denied
>
> For an OAuth connection, reconnect it and allow calendar access: reading needs **Read calendars**, creating and deleting need **Create calendar events**. For a service principal, an admin must grant the Microsoft Graph permission named in the error. See [Connect Microsoft 365](https://docs.noxus.ai/integrations/providers/microsoft.md).

> [accordion] Outlook calendar or event not found
>
> Check the selected **Calendar**, or the **Event ID**. A bound calendar ID must be an `id` from List Outlook Calendars.

> [accordion] End date must be on or after Start date
>
> In Read Outlook Events, set **End date** to the same day as **Start date** or later.

> [accordion] End must be after Start
>
> In Create Outlook Event, set **End** later than **Start**. Check **Timezone** when the values are bound without an offset.

> [accordion] ... must be an ISO 8601 date or datetime
>
> A bound date is not in a format the node reads. Use a date such as `2025-08-08` or a date and time such as `2025-08-08T19:00:00`.

> [accordion] Read the first ... events; the range holds more
>
> The range holds more events than **Max events**. Raise **Max events**, or narrow **Start date** and **End date**.

> [accordion] The event was created without a Teams meeting link
>
> The event exists, but Outlook did not add a Teams meeting. Check that the connected Outlook account can create Teams meetings.

> [accordion] Outlook timed out. The event may have been created
>
> Open the calendar before you run the flow again, so you do not create or delete the event twice.
