# Analytics and Billing

> Usage, cost and billing figures from chat, and the analytics page on screen

Genie answers how often something ran, what it cost and what your plan has used, from the same figures as [Analytics](https://docs.noxus.ai/platform/analytics/overview.md) and [Billing](https://docs.noxus.ai/platform/analytics/billing.md). It is in beta: your Noxus contact turns it on for your organization.

## Asking for a figure

Name the period the way the time picker does: today, the past 7 or 30 days, this month, last month, or any dates. Genie says which dates its answer covers.

Ask about the workspace you are in, another workspace, every workspace of your organization, or one flow, agent or knowledge base. Each answers with what its own Analytics page shows, so a flow's cost by node is there and an agent's chats are there. Every workspace at once is for whoever may pick **All workspaces** in Settings › Analytics.

## On an analytics page

On any Analytics page, Genie knows the period, the workspace and the flow, agent or knowledge base on screen. "What did this flow cost in this period?" needs no dates and no names.

Ask it to show another period or workspace and the page changes, as its filters would. Ask for a figure from anywhere and Genie opens its page, on the right tab.

## Billing

For your organization's billing managers. Genie reads the plan as the Billing Overview shows it: what this cycle has used of the included AI operations and model usage, what unfinished work holds, and when it resets. It says which limit is blocking work and the overage charged in a period.

It lists your usage controls with what each counted this cycle, and adds, changes or deletes one on a [card](https://docs.noxus.ai/platform/genie/approvals.md) that names what it counts, where it applies, its monthly cap and its alerts. Spend caps are in your billing currency. Each change is in the audit log with your name, as one made on the page.

When a limit refuses a run Genie starts, Genie says which limit, and who can raise it.

* "How many times did Invoices run this week, and what did it cost?"
* "Which node of this flow costs the most?"
* "Which workspace spent the most on models this month?"
* "Show me last month for all workspaces."
* "How much of our plan have we used, and when does it reset?"
* "Cap OpenAI spend in this workspace at 200 a month, with an alert at 75%."
