Azure Document Intelligence reads scanned and digital documents and returns every word and line with its position on the page and a confidence score. Noxus uses it as an OCR provider, with the prebuilt Read model: document extraction fills your fields with the language model, and the boxes that show a reviewer where each value is printed come from Document Intelligence. The processing runs in your own Azure subscription, in the region of the resource, and Azure bills that subscription directly.

Set it up

Create a Document Intelligence resource

In the Azure portal, create a Document Intelligence resource. Pick the region that matches your data residency.

Copy the endpoint and a key

Open the resource’s Keys and Endpoint page. Copy the Endpoint, for example https://my-resource.cognitiveservices.azure.com/, and KEY 1.

Connect it in Noxus

Open Workspace control → Connections, click Add connection, and choose Azure Document Intelligence. Paste the Endpoint and the Key.Noxus checks the endpoint and key when you save. On success the status is Active, and the connection’s Metadata tab shows the endpoint host, the model and the API version. The key itself is never shown again.

Limits

  • Up to 500 MB per document on the standard tier.
